Tradeka-Yhtiöt Oy has acquired A-Katsastus Oy

Aventum advised Tradeka on the acquisition of A-Katsastus Group

Aventum acted as advisor to Tradeka-Yhtiöt Oy (“Tradeka”) on the acquisition of Atrul-Regulatory Group Oy (“A-Katsastus Group”). A-Katsastus Group consists of A-Katsastus Oy which is a leading vehicle inspection service provider and Ajovarma Oy, which is the sole provider of driving license services and the market leader in registration services in Finland. A-Katsastus Group operates from its over 150 locations around Finland and employs some 800 professionals. In 2019, the group had sales of 68 MEUR and was previously owned by the Finnish private equity company MB Funds.

Co-operative (Osuuskunta) Tradeka is a 200 000 member investment co-operative, with the guiding principle to be a meaningful long-term owner of Finnish services companies. A-Katsastus Group fits perfectly Tradeka’s “own and develop”-investment category.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the competition authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of February 2021.
