Investindustrial has acquired COMAX France

Founded in 1990, Investindustrial is a leading European group of independently managed investment, holding and advisory companies with €11 billion of raised fund capital. A team of approximately 160 professionals operates from independently managed investment and advisory companies based in London, Lugano, Madrid, Paris, New York, Shanghai and Luxembourg

Founded in 2003 by Canadian power producer Maxim Power and based in Langon in the Aquitaine region, COMAX France is the fifth largest operator of gas-fired cogeneration and peaking power plants. The Company has 30 power plants spread across France, 120 engines and turbines and more than twelve Lithium-Ion battery storage modules. Since December 2016, COMAX France was in the portfolio of Basalt Infrastructure Partners.
