Daniel DiCarro
Director at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company
Dan DiCarro has over 9 years of commercial real estate experience in finance, transaction and private equity related roles. Dan spent most of his professional career at DDR Corp, one of the largest retail power center REITS in the US, where he held positions sourcing debt, acquiring and selling properties, and was most recently their Peripheral Land Director, where he was one of two people in charge of handling the entire company’s outparcel leasing and land sale program (over 450 properties). In his time at DDR, Dan was part of a 5 member team that sold over $3B worth of stabilized assets over a 5 year period, directly sold over $5mm of raw, non-income providing vacant land and generated over $2mm of new ground lease revenues.
In 2014 Dan formed his own business and private equity firm with two other partners to take advantage of the thriving sale-leaseback market of NNN leases. The fund that Dan created was focused around providing investors with a lucrative, short-term return structure and deploying the capital raised to fund new development opportunities for free-standing outparcel tenants.
Dan began his career with BGL in February of 2015 with a focus on Capital Markets, specific to sourcing institutional equity relationships. Dan’s role also includes assisting with the real estate advisory platform and asset management of the principal portfolio. Education
